Our Core Departments
1. Research and Consultancy Department
This department has a decidedly public policy and good governance posture. The Department is responsible for policy research and formulation, legislative review, and reforms.
2. Commercial Department
The Commercial Department provides bottom-line solutions, tailor-made to meet clients’ business needs. The Department is responsible for advising clients on mergers and acquisitions transactions, corporate restructuring, property and real estate, intellectual property law, regulatory and compliance frameworks in project finance transactions, government tender process, and consulting solutions through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration processes.
3. Conveyancing Department
The department is responsible for the provision of conveyancing services including due diligence and preliminary inquiries in respect to the sale and purchase of real estate property, preparing and completing contracts for the sale of landed property, deducing titles, and completing conveyancing and assignments.
4. Litigation Department
This is where the clients’ legal interests are vigorously defended in court. The Department has extensive experience in complex litigation and enjoys a stable and settled reputation of competent representation of clients’ cases in all courts and tribunals.
5. Pro Bono Department
The Pro Bono Department is fully dedicated to providing a broad range of pro bono legal services including especially, free legal advice, assistance and representation of the indigent in public interest and single welfare cases; training and capacity development of community paralegals; publication and dissemination of infomercials; and periodic training of persons acting pro se, on-court courtesy and etiquette, procedures and processes, drafting, filing, follow-ups, and self-representation.
